Our breads are vegan and filled with the best, locally sourced, quality ingredients. The Falaoa Niu or coconut bread, is our best seller because it is simple but packs in flavour. Made with shredded coconut, coconut milk and not a hint of yeast! A quick bread recipe that is a staple in most Niuean households back on the tiny island, but a rarity found here in Otepoti. Best served with lashings of vegan butter (Nutellex, Olivani or your favourite vegan spread) AND strawberry jam. Not too sweet either and you can also pair it with savoury food like chicken, pork, veges or with your main meal. It is my favourite bread of all time and it has a special meaning; I get to share a part of my culture with you! (Rachel)

    Dairy-free- making it a perfect choice for our dairy intolerant friends.

    Favourite way to enjoy a slice of coconut bread is warmed for a few seconds in the microwave, eaten on it's own or add a bit of margarine or jam. It can also be enjoyed as a complimentary side dish to any savoury main meal.

    This artisan bread is directly inspired by the bread from the island of Niue, where traditionally it is baked in the Umu (outside oven).

  • Coconut Buns
    A Pacific Island sweet delicacy, our sweet buns have been quite popular at markets and in-person events.

    Coconut buns also known as pani-popo, are fluffy soft buns baked in a sweet coconut sauce. Inspired by the many Pacific Island nations who have different versions, our bun is unique in that ours are vegan, plant based and contains light coconut cream.

    Perfect on it's own or complimentary to many savoury dishes.

    Available in packs of 3, 6, 12 and 24.
